Journalist Rami Bdeir, a journalist in the Palestinian Civil Defence, was killed in an Israeli shelling on Khan Younis in the central Gaza Strip. Local sources said that Bdeir tried to help other journalists who were targeted in an Israeli shelling on Farhana School in Khan Younis before he was targeted by a second shelling in the same area. Local sources said that Nour Saqr and Husni Nabhan, who work for the Palestinian Civil Defence, were also martyred in the same bombing. Al Jazeera photojournalist Samer Abu Daqqa, who was accompanying journalist Wael al-Dahdouh, was also martyred in the same area.
